6" ~12" mini quilt swap

This is a mini quilt I made for Carol in Wisconsin. She was tired of the cold and ready for some spring and was feeling like she'd lost her creative mojo. I really wanted to send her some joy and the result was this mini.

I was inspired by this tutorial girl on a swing by comfortstitching. I changed it up a bit ... can you believe I created that girl doing a cartwheel? I was pretty excited that it turned out the way I saw it in my head!

Happy Stitching!

  5. Yah, Kelley, I was just telling Rolling Thunder last night about how "brilliant" I am ... NOT. I just get inspired by other quilter and add a twist. I am not original. Thanks for the lovely comment!
